Summary: The apartment is magnificent. It is very large, with modern appliances and comfortable. The location is in the middle of the action and everything is 3 to 5 minute walk away. It is not quiet. The corner just below the windows overlooks a busy intersection and people are there until 2 or 3am. The description fails to mention how challenging the "26 steps" are to the first floor. My wife and I are in our 70's and the steps were a problem. We also noted some black mold in the shower. All in all it was a fine place to stay in Lucca for more physically fit travelers.
