Positive: Cabañas Sixilera was one of the absolute highlights of three months of travelling. The setting and the views are beautiful. Centrally located to explore the whole Jujuy region north of Salta, yet in a tranquil and quiet location. Despite being just ten minutes from the main road. The house has everything you can possibly need (even Netflix). The attention to detail just makes it a very pleasant place to stay. David, the owner, has clearly thought about everything from cosy lights to comfortable chairs to a lovely patio for when it gets windy. David also finds a perfect balance between being friendly and considerate (the breakfast is great) and also allowing privacy.
Negative: Wish we explored all of Jujuy from here. We stayed in three different towns but the area is small enough to explore from one place. Even the Salinas Grandes are within easy reach. This place is só much nicer than other places with a high rating in the area.
