Summary: Our stay at Barong was beautiful, from the grounds and gardens to the exquisite room and view. This is the real Bali. Beautiful and tranquil countryside setting among rice fields. Agung was a wonderful host who made our stay so much more special. He was very knowledgeable about the local area and very enthusiastic and fun to interact with each day. Made and all the staff here at Barong were a delight. The traditional blessing on entry was a great taste of culture and start to the stay. The food was freshly made - delicious everytime, with local ingredients and flavours - some from the gardens of Barong, Massages on-site and scooters hired through Barong, are some of the property perks. We will definitely be back and look forward to seeing you again.
