Summary: Yes the house is beautiful BUT there were many issues and the owners were impossible to communicate with. Property manager tried to help but was very limited by the inability to reach owners. The lawn had not been cut so the potentially beautiful yard looked like an abandoned lot. The outside furniture was in horrible ugly condition, including some broken/safety hazard and the hot tub was unusable. Early in our visit the fire alarm went off. This was the only time the owners reached out because of their concern for the house. The local fire chief showed up and turned off the alarm and advised us to have the owners reset it. The owners claimed to have reset it remotely but it never was during our 2 week stay. The house itself is beautiful but the many maintenance issues and frustrations with communication, too many to mention here, intruded on our ability to enjoy it. We spent many hours on the phone with the property manager, to little effect. We spoke with the prior renter (because of bad communication with owner we overlapped) and they said the same.
