Perfect short term rental for a couple that is temporarily displaced while doing a remodel or local move. Charming Craftsman cottage, sunny, fully furnished, unit is one half of one-level duplex, private backyard, hardwood floors throughout, beautiful interior touches, cute higher-end kitchen, new bathroom, quiet safe neighborhood, 1 mile from downtown Redwood City, skylight, plantation shutters throughout, arched entryways, garage has been converted to an entertainment room that opens into private sunny backyard with firepit/seating/fountain. Beautiful micro-vineyard in front yard. In-Unit Washer Dryer, Dishwasher. 2 queen beds.
Note: There in no A/C except for a portable a/c unit on wheels but there are ceiling fans throughout. No storage of your furniture/belongings in the home. Sorry, Absolutely no dogs -- no matter how small, well-behaved, and quiet they are.
This rental is the owner's home and it will be available to a short-term renter during the May 12th to Aug 12th time frame. Prospective renters should be long-time local residents with great credit records, great local references, and will treat the home as their own. Owner is very selective about who moves into the home. You must be quiet, respectful, and treat the home better than your own. Requires 2-month or 3-month lease with NO possibility of extension or renewal (ie. owner will be moving back into the home on Aug 13th.) Unit is available for rent starting May 12th and renters must vacate rental by Aug 12th 2023.
There is no land line. $150 cleaning fee charged renter upon vacating rental at end of rental period.
