In the heart of the Pays d'Auge, rental of a charming village house of 65 m2, in Cambremer, fully equipped and close to shops within walking distance. You can find there 2 restaurants including a gastronomic one with Norman specialties, 1 tea room, 1 butcher, 1 bar / tobacco, a Granges aux Dîmes for exhibitions, 1 Art gallery, clothes shops, 1 hair salon, 1 beauty salon, 1 delicatessen, 1 florist, 1 mini Casino, 1 pharmacy, 1 bank with distributor. The village of Cambremer is located between Bonnebosq, Beauvron en Auge (classified village) and Dozulé and has a magnificent Church classified XIVth. Perfectly located, on the cider route, near the international pole of the horse, 20 minutes from the beaches (Cabourg, Deauville, Trouville ...), the port of Honfleur, 15 km from Lisieux and the Basilica of Sainte Thérèse, close to Pont l'Evêque. Many activities are available to you: Zoological park of Cerza in Herminal les Vaux, horse riding, Olympic seawater swimming pool in Deauville, thalassotherapy, hiking, golf, tree climbing ... but also a cider house visit (Paul Huet at leaving the village), cheese factories ..., a landscaped garden (Les Jardins du Pays d'Auge) of 4 ha (one of the most beautiful in France) is also located in Cambremer with its crêperie and reception hall.
The house on 3 floors includes: on the ground floor: 1 pleasant fully equipped kitchen (gas hob, extractor, microwave, oven, dishwasher) with its dining table (marble bistro table that can accommodate up to 8 people), a small living room, TV, fireplace. On the 1st floor: 1 bedroom with 1 double bed, wardrobe, TV, double window, a bathroom with window, wc. On the 2nd floor: 1 bedroom for 2 with 2 single beds, wardrobe, TV, laundry room with washing machine. 1 bedroom with 1 single bed. On the 3rd floor under the eaves a bedroom is available with 1 double bed. It is dependent by a staircase from the bedroom on the 2nd floor. Ideal for children.
The bedding is recent and the beds will be made upon arrival. Household linen is provided. A note, I am a collector of dishes and a staircase serves the different rooms.

Summary: A shorter trip this summer Overall, we all enjoyed our stay. We are relaxed, it was chilled, we had our own adhoc itinerary with no pressure to see everything. The property was quite querky, very cottagey, quite bijou and compact. There were 3 floors. All the rooms were a good size and we found the beds quite comfortable. The room in the loft was quite warm but we didn't need to use it. There was a nice garden in the back but we unfortunately didn't make use of it. The house is on a hilly and at times it was quite noisey with the cars going up and down the road but we got used to it and it was only really relevant in the daytime and was. Nice and quiet at night. Not too far from the d-day landing beaches and Caen and Bayeaux and the beaches at Daeuville and Houlgate. Overall a nice experience. Oh forgot to mention our host Raphaellla is very welcoming, warm, and attentive and a very nice lady an person. Thank you for being very helpful and welcoming.
