The home shows off two comfortable bedrooms and two modern bathrooms. The windows throughout let in a beautiful display of light and views of flat grassy fields, 100 year old trees, and lovely rock landscaping and plantings. This property is 2 ½ acres in the North Fork Valley of Black Mountain that borders the Asheville Watershed.
Apeldoorn House has a fully stocked kitchen and an electric outdoor grill. Two comfortable patios and a firepit area are great places to sit or dine while enjoying the waning light of the sunset and the sparkling stars at night.
You will be cradled in peace and serenity both inside and outside the house. As you experience nature in this very unique private place you will experience the sights and sounds of birds, a babbling brook, wild turkey's, and possibly the journey of a mama bear and her cubs---these things will give you joy and delight. Coffee on the porch in the morning and wine in the evening will melt your worries away.

The house is totally custom built using reclaimed 100 year old heart pine doors, antique ceiling beams, kitchen cabinets made from old painted panels from France, copper fixtures and handmade copper range hood, and other detailed trim work throughout.
