Charming Andalusian style Villa built by a famous Irish writer right in the middle of a private 1500 square meters of gardens is located only 300 meters away (less than 2 minutes walk) from the main beach in an extremely quiet area of Collioure right in the middle of vineyards and on the main hiking path to Chateau de Saint Elme. Extremely easy access to the property with a private parking space in front of the house
The house is composed of a patio of slightly more than 100 square meters accessing directly to the lounge / dining room and the fully equipped kitchen, right after a short corridor you will access to a large master bedroom with a private bathroom
accessible from both the master bed room or the balcony (private entrance) a second bedroom with leaving room, bedroom area and a generous size bathroom will allow travelers to have 2 separate bedding areas
in the main leaving room, a very comfortable 1,80 meter large sofa bed will serve occasionally or throughout your stay for a maximum capacity of 6 adults
from the patio you can access the wide natural garden with a surface of approximately 1500 square meters that will allow you to discovers local and more exotic plants and tress to unwind in a quite and peaceful environment away from the holidays crowd
the house is only 2 minutes walk to the faubourg beach and is easily accessible from the main Collioure road. located only 300 meters away from the beach you will find one of the most quite place in the city yet close enough to enjoy sightseeing, hiking path and nightlife alike.
the regional 1 euros bus will take you mostly anywhere you like in the region, from banyuls sur mer to the paulille bay, you are just minutes away from the most beautiful sight of the Vermeille coast

Summary: We very much enjoyed our 7week stay here. The house is spacious and quirky with lots of outdoor space too, if you can cope with the mosquitos. It is well equipped with everything you need for your holiday. The walk to the beach and town is fine but us being pensioners in our late 70's found the uphill return challenging. Maybe the exercise will have done us good though. We also found the mattress on the main bed quite hard and think a topper would improve this greatly. We were very comfortable and happy with the house and facilities.
