Positive: We had a lovely stay in Palermo and felt well cared for by Veronica who checked us in and Daniella, who prepared breakfast and tended to the rooms. They truly care about their guests and will do their best to accommodate all requests and answer questions. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows were amazing, probably the most comfortable in all of Italy so far! The room was very clean and quite big with a small balcony, and adjustable air-conditioning The location was fabulous and we walked everywhere. Nearby is a truly authentic family run Sicilian restaurant "La Gondola" where we enjoyed superb food and service (many of the others are tourist traps with rude waiters and below average and overpriced food). For aperitifs go to "Caffe Antico" where all the locals go and enjoy their complimentary snacks. Don't miss to see the "Catacombe Cappuccini", a mindblowing display of mummies and embalmed bodies.

Negative: No English channels and no streaming on the TV, which wasn't a problem for us anyways.
