Summary: We were absolutely floored by the beautiful location--Colle Santa Lucia is just breathtaking. The apartment wasn't perfect for the three (plus a baby) of us. It was remodeled and very comfortable. Beautiful wood furniture and details makes the place feel very alpine. Our bed was the most comfortable of all our accommodations in Italy. The bathroom was large and redone with a rain shower head. It had a washing machine and a drying rack. The windows were great for letting fresh air in and the one in the main room has a perfect view of the chapel and mountains. We especially enjoyed the terrace that looks out over the mountains and valley. The table and covered gazebo made picnics and dinners wonderful out there. You can walk to the local alimentari (small market) for all the essentials. You can also easily walk into town and to the Church. We highly recommend visiting the church for Sunday Mass--they had a schola choir and the church itself was beautiful. Maurizio was a grey host and helped us settle in and gave us recommendations for dinner and directions for the tourist office. The kitchen was well stocked but you'll have to pick up some things like olive oil, etc. which wasn't a big deal for us. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return to Colle Santa Lucia in the future!
