If linen hire packs are required, we can supply them for a cost of $30.00 per person regardless of length of stay (Sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats, hand towels and tea towels).

BRINGING A 4WD:
As Moreton Island is a sand Island (3rd largest in the world) the only vehicles that operate on the Island are 4WD.
Providing your vehicle is a 4WD, you can drive it on the island as all the tracks on the island are built for 4WD vehicles only.
It is not recommended to bring an All-Wheel Drive vehicle across as they are too low for adequate ground clearance of the tracks.
The MiCat vehicle and passenger Ferry from Howard Smith Drive, Lytton at the Port of Brisbane to the Tangalooma Wrecks is the only vehicle Ferry operating between Brisbane and Tangalooma, therefore early bookings are essential so contact their website www.moretonislandadventures.com.au for information on bookings.
NO 4WD:
If you will not be bringing a 4WD vehicle to the Island you will need to catch the MICAT and have pre-arranged for Moreton Island Tourist Services to collect you from the MICAT landing point and taxi you and your guests to the property. We do wish to advise the property you are booking is totally reliant on sunshine for power. Therefore, guests cannot use in the property, hair dryers, hair straighteners, use appliances such as washing machines at night or plug into the house any personal car fridges.
There are no microwaves or toasters in most of the properties as they cannot hold the power required to use these appliances.
If the weather does not supply full sunshine for the duration of your stay, we may need to run the backup generator to top up the power.
DAMAGES:
If any damages occur during your stay, we will then deduct up to Fifteen Hundred Dollars from your provided bond. If any damages do incur at the property during your stay, it is the best practice to advise us immediately, not after you have vacated.
