Travel Purpose: business
Positive: Well appointed kitchen and bedrooms. We were a party of three generations and the two reception rooms allowed space for those who wanted to watch tv and those who wanted a bit of quiet time. We saw otters at the loch shore and a fish eagle hunting over the glen which everyone was excited about. I recommend the restaurant in the pub in Edinbane and a visit to Dunvegan castle.
Negative: I have no negatives about the house. Visits to Portree are challenging as parking is very limited. If you’ve ever visited the western isles you’ll know the value of decent waterproofs. To make the most of Skye you really need a car and an understanding of single track roads and how passing places work.
Summary: Restful, return to nature, and a slower pace of life.
