Summary: Words cannot put into perspective how fantastic this property is. The sunsets were so breathtaking every night as we sat on the front deck. I never saw a sunrise because the bed was so comfortable we slept through them. The interior was very nice and well appointed and the air conditioning worked very well. The fishing from the pier its on is also fantastic and if you have a cast net you can walk to the back of Pogies and catch bait fish every cast. You can do well right from the pier too netting for bait. Endless activities are all around the area and you only have a short walk across the bridge and you are in downtown Swansboro. Gene the host met us at check-in and was easy to get a hold of and not intrusive. The Southern Belle was a vacation we will never forget. We saw a sea turtle that was hit by a boat rescued and brought to Pogie's where a team came and took it to a rehab. It should be okay. This boat does have a 4 or 5 step vertical ladder to access it so people that cant climb a ladder will have a very hard time getting on and off. Book it! You wont regret it.
