Summary: Positive experiences first: -Very quiet surroundings -Spacious cooking and dining area -Basically well equipped kitchen (large fridge, dishwasher) -Daily supplies (market, supermarket, bakery) (still) within walking distance - 15 minutes -Pets (in our case a cat) are welcome -Bathroom is newly renovated and modern What wasn't so nice: -Cleanliness of the kitchen and cupboards (we had the impression that some of them hadn't been cleaned for years) - there was also old food in the kitchen. It was disgusting in some places. -Condition of the kitchen and cooking appliances - some very run down -General condition of the house - not the best. The garage can only be described as "creepy", the awning is rotting, some of the sockets are falling out of the walls, one of the patio doors couldn't be locked, etc. -We weren't allowed to use the fireplace (well, it was warm enough anyway) Oh, and the beach: Yes, you can walk there (I didn't measure the distance, but the stated 250 meters is rather optimistic), but it's not worth it. We recommend driving 8 minutes to the beach in Les Huttes... much, much nicer.
